Igor Shesterkin has hilarious response when questioned about long-term contract
New York Rangers starting goalie Igor Shesterkin was faced with media today and faced a series of questions about his future with organization.
Yesterday reports came out about the 28-year old Russian goaltender and how he is now able to become an unrestricted free agent at the end of the next season. According to Mollie Walker from the New York Post, Shesterkin and his camp are looking to seal a massive extension from the Rangers for roughly $12M AAV on his next contract.
However, today Shesterkin was faced with the media and was asked he was thinking about a long-term contract with the Rangers and he gave a hilarious answer.
