Peter Laviolette Addresses Media On New Addition To Lineup
It's looking like Adam Edström will be getting another shot tonight against the Calgary Flames.
Edström, who was drafted a year prior to Matt Rempe in 2019, is considered slightly further ahead in his development and figures to get the first crack in the lineup.
He spent Sunday practicing in the right-wing spot on the fourth line next to Jimmy Vesey and Barclay Goodrow.
Laviolette was asked what he wants to see from Edström if he plays tonight:
"He played well when he was here and he's been playing well down there (in Hartford)"
Edström impressed during his first and only NHL appearance, a Dec. 15 win over the Anaheim Ducks in which he scored a goal.
