Laviolette And Staff Recognized For Brilliant Coaching In Playoffs
Head coach Peter Laviolette and his staff are recognized for their continued success in the playoffs, receiving the award for Coaching Staff Of The Round.
The President Trophy winning Rangers were the only team to sweep their first round opponent, the Washington Capitals. They're rewarded with facing arguably the second best team remaining in the playoffs, the high flying Carolina Hurricanes.
Congratulations to Laviolette and the coaching staff, and let's hope their performance continues in the second round!
