Peter Laviolette Reflects On Last Time Rangers Faced The Predators
The Rangers have come a long way since the 4-1 loss to the Nashville Predators on October 19th.
They were 2-2 at that point. Since then, the Rangers have gone 14-2-1 and have the best point percentage record in the league.
Head Coach Peter Laviolette responded to Mollie Walker when she mentioned that loss to the Predators was a turning point.
"I like your positive spin on it."
But he also explained the message he gave to the team after the loss:
"My message has to be their message, too. We have to like what we do and play to a certain level and a certain standard. On that night, I don't think we did & they agreed. Tried to right some wrongs and fix things. We were able to do that after we played this team."
Peter Laviolette also mentions what he learned from the Rangers since that game:
"They've responded a few times this year. They've responded to a game. I think they've responded in a 3rd period. They're fighters in there and they want to do well. I think every day you wake up and you're looking for success. If you can realize it's not your best day, you can try to be better tomorrow."
This will be the Rangers chance for revenge and get a big win today!
The team is currently out for their warmup lines.
