Laviolette Shuts Down Idea Of Any Easy Playoff Series
The Rangers are the first team to advance to the Second Round of the 2024 Stanley Cup Playoffs! They completed their first series sweep in 17 years over the Washington Capitals. Head coach Peter Laviolette gives his thoughts on the idea that the Rangers had an easier first round matchup in taking on the Capitals:
"This is playoff hockey, you don't get here unless you played hard, played well. Every team that's in here is really good, and anybody can beat anybody."
The Rangers trailed for only 3:26 in the four games.
The Rangers await the winner of the Hurricanes and Islanders.
