The Rangers Achieved History Over Alex Ovechkin
The Rangers became the sixth Presidents Trophy winner to complete the first-round sweep when they beat the Washington Capitals last night.
What is just as impressive, the Rangers are the first team to ever hold Alex Ovechkin without a point in a playoff series, and he had just five shots on goal.
When asked on how the team managed to pull off such an incredible feat, Artemi Panarin was tight-lipped on the matter, saying "it's a secret".
The Rangers await the winner of the Islanders-Hurricanes series, in which the Hurricanes lead 3-1.
