Colton Scissions blows chance to tie series after devastating miss
The Nashville Predators had an opportunity of a lifetime to tie their first round series against the Vancouver Canucks 2-2 in the final minute of the game. Unfortunately, Predators forward Colton Scissions hit the goal post with a wide-open net.
Predators fans were in complete disbelief an utter shock as they saw their chance evaporate which led to the Vancouver Canucks tying the game with eight seconds remaining from Canucks forward Brock Boeser.
Boeser, who had resurgence this year played all 81 games for the Canucks while scoring 40 goals for the first time in his career and 33 assists for 73 points it was a + 23. Through four games of these playoffs, he has scored four goals and one assist for five points.
He also scored a hat trick during this game which came in the fifth different player to score a postseason hat trick and the first one since Trevor Linden in 1996.
The Canucks ended up winning in overtime which crushed the Predators.
It certainly was a deflating experience for predators fans as the team would like to go back to Vancouver all knotted up at 2. But, that's not how hockey works and team now has a mountain decline as they have to win their next three of their next 4.
