Matthew Tkachuk takes a cheap shot at Rangers veteran during press conference
Things are getting heated during the Eastern Conference Finals between the New York Rangers and Florida Panthers.
During game 4 on Panthers home ice at the Amerant Back Arena, a heated scrum between Chris Kreider and Matthew Tkachuk broke out leading Kreider ripping Tkachuk's mouthguard out of his mouth and tossing it into the stands.
Surprisingly, Kreider has not received any disciplinary actions, considering what the NHL rule book states about players throwing objects/equipment into tue stands:
"Any player who deliberately throws any equipment out of the playing area" will receive a misconduct penalty, and the on-ice officials can make that a game misconduct at their discretion."
As far as what Tkachuk had to say about it, he hit back at Kreider in classic fashion:
During the post game press Tkachuk fired back at Kreider stating:
"I told him that was the best play he made all game"

Game 5 is set to take place tomorrow night at Madison Square Garden at 8:00pm.
