It's welcome news for a fan base let alone a country that has been squeezed by inflation and other exponential costs that have gone up including housing, groceries, and gasoline.
Over the past several years even decades, the prices of tickets have gone up dramatically and have put many fans out of reach for season tickets and even single game tickets.
This report was reported by the New York Post. It's becoming clear that MSG is hoping for long playoff runs from the Knicks and from the Rangers as both will be making the playoffs this year.
New York Post
James L Dolan, the current owner of the Rangers and the Knicks is hoping for great playoff success as the Rangers had an upset last year losing in the first round.
While the Rangers sit in first of the metro division and potentially the best team in the NHL, the Knicks currently sit in 5th in their Eastern Conference and are likely to face the Orlando Magic in the first round of their playoff run.
The NHL playoffs begin on April 21st.
