Tomorrow the New York Rangers will have a difficult opponent in the Toronto Maple Leafs. The game atmosphere should exude playoff hockey, as March draws nearer.

Two Rangers players who were asked about the next stretch of games were Mika Zibanejad and Ryan Lindgren.
«We need to win games right now first and foremost, which we did tonight, but that's not a recipe for winning games,» defenseman Ryan Lindgren said postgame.

The team is still 5th in the Metropolitan Division with a record of 29-25-4 and will have to keep fighting in order to secure a wildcard playoff spot in the East.
Mika ZIbanejad, and Ryan Lindgren's quotes below sound like a statement of purpose, and direction.
The kind of perspective they'll need if they want to win a playoff spot by April 17th.
Lindgren himself didn't hold back on the team's play against the Penguins which resulted in a win.
«My evaluation is that it was awful. You guys all saw it. We were in the D zone the entire time, we were giving them chance after chance,» Lindgren said about the second period. «Everything about it was awful.»,

This kind of mentality is the way to keep the team moving forward, by learning from your mistakes and acting on them the next game.
Can you believe the reformed words of Mika Zibanejad and Ryan Lindgren? We hope they can put some action behind those words.
As of right now, the Rangers have a total of 60 points in the Metropolitan Division and are only a win behind both the Ottawa Senators and Columbus Blue Jackets in the east.
Only two points before they can start to get comfortable in their hunt for a wild card spot.
Now, with the Maple Leafs in Madison Square Garden, they'll have to be on high alert.
Guard the crease against Auston Matthews, and Mitch Marner, cross your-t's, and dot your-i's.
