New York Rangers top defenseman Adam Fox has suffered a brutal upper-body injury during Tuesday night's game against the New York Islanders as he was forced to exit the game early.
Following the injury, the New York Rangers organization announced an update as they have placed Adam Fox on Injured Reserve with an upper-body injury and will be «out for a little bit».
Adam Fox is going on injured reserve. He will be out for «a little bit,» I'm told, but the Rangers are confident he will be back for the stretch run of the season.

As the Trade Deadline is only a week away Chris Drury and the Rangers must decide if they want to become sellers or continue to push for a playoff spot.
Regardless Now that the Rangers top defenseman is likely to be out for the remainder of the season, the organization will desperately need to find someone to fill his spot.
The 27-year old has managed to tally five goals and 48 points in 58 games with the New York Rangers this season, so losing him long-term will greatly affect the team.
