New York Rangers rookie, Victor Mancini, joined the celebration by scoring his first NHL goal, extending the Rangers lead to 5-1.

Mancini's first NHL goal = a beauty.

Definitely a huge milestone moment for the 22-year old rookie, in result of an excellent setup by Kaapo Kakko and an impressive wrist shot from the young defenseman.

This is technically Mancini's first official NHL career goal, but during the Rangers second regular season game against the Utah Hockey Club, Victor Mancini managed to net a similar goal that was initially waived off due to goaltender inference from Matt Rempe.

That goal should count.

MSG is loud

However, with this initial goal, Mancini has set the stage for what fans hope will be many more memorable moments in his NHL career.

As of result of tonight's game the New York Rangers managed to pull off a 5-2 victory over the Detroit Red Wings, for the second time as they also beat them 4-1 on Monday October 14.

The New York Rangers are set to play next on Saturday October 19th against the Toronto Maple Leafs at Scotiabank Arena at 7PM.
