New York Rangers set to acquire former player as free agency approaches
As the offseason is officially underway the New York Rangers are looking to make some moves during free agency to better their chances to win the 2025 Stanley Cup Final.
With that being said, the Rangers shouldn't need to look far in the 2024 offseason, as there is one particular player they should be targeting to bring back the organization through a trade.
The player they should be targeting was a former right winger for the New York Rangers and is now currently with the St.Louis Blues, Pavel Buchnevich.
Adding a player like Buchnevich would definitely help bolster the Rangers to reach their ultimate goal of winning the Stanley Cup. Buchnevich has been an outstanding player, with 206 points, 83 goals, and 123 assists through 216 games.
This is definitely a move Chris Drury should be considering as fans would be more than happy to welcome him back to team.
