New York Rangers to sign NHL veteran Max Pacioretty? It was just confirmed
NHL veteran's future with the New York Rangers has just been confirmed by a very well respected NHL insider.
Former Washington Capitals veteran Max Pacioretty has suffered two Achilles injuries throughout his NHL career and ultimately wasn't able to much last season with the Capital so now he remains a free agent.
As the offseason continues to come to an end, there has been speculation that a few teams are eyeing the veteran including the New York Rangers, as he has great leadership qualities and would provide many teams with some solid depth for their bottom six.
However, according to a recent post made by Darren Dreger of TSN, he has confirmed Pacioretty's future with the Rangers as he stated the Toronto Maple Leafs are close to signing him.
Pacioretty would be a great addition to any roster as he can offer some advice to the younger players on the roster, and will lead the team to success, as he used to be the captain of the Montreal Canadiens.
