In a short time with the New York Rangers, Victor Mancini appears to be poised and ready to take his new NHL career and the Rangers to the next level.

Players like Mancini and of his age are usually plagued with mistakes and nervousness as they play their first games in the NHL. But in his case at 22 years old, he appears to be like an NHL veteran where he seems calm and staying true to how to play his game.
He spoke about the strength he has in his game and why he feels he's a great defender and helping the Rangers in their end.
«I feel like my defensive play,» Mancini said on what has stood out about his game. «I want my game to start in the defensive zone and work my way out, especially being a defender. I take pride in my defense.»

It was noted as he was being drafted back in 2022 that he has shown this level of maturity and professionalism long before he became a Ranger as he was like this during his college years. Players like him are quite rare and with his defensive abilities along with his strong skating, the Rangers will benefit from him dramatically and for many years to come.
«I describe my game as a two-way player,» Mancini said. «Like I said before taking pride in my defense, being a hard-nosed player in the corners, being able to shut down forwards, win puck battles and starting the offense in our defensive zone by being able to make that first breakout pass and being able to join that second layer on offense and help out.»

The Rangers hold several key prospects who will become part of the team over the next couple of years. But it appears the Rangers have hit gold, and Mancini should become a mainstay for this team for quite some time.
