Rangers Fans Are Outraged And Call for Defenseman To Be Traded Following Poor Performance
The New York Rangers fanbase is upset with the performance of the team this season. A mistake byRyan Lindgren, gave the Blues a go-ahead goal, putting the team up 2-0 over the Rangers. Now, they want him to be traded.
Given the Rangers performance this season, you could easily accuse the team of playing underwhelming, and uninspired hockey.
One of those players who contributed to the decline is defenseman Ryan Lindgren who was out of his position in what resulted in a 2nd goal by the St. Louis Blues.
Lindgren was caught on his toes, as Jordan Kyrou utilized a stick lift in the defensive zone, stealing the puck from the "warrior".
It'd result in a goal at 19:37 in the 2nd period, giving the Blues a dominating lead over the Rangers.
Fans are upset with his play, considering Lindgren himself felt the team was "outworked, and outplayed" recently by the Kings.
The stick lift, and quick goal by Jordan Kyrou, who by all means wasn't considered a two-way player a few years ago.
Honestly, it's awfully ironic that Lindgren himself has failed to be the defenseman the Rangers needed.
The team signed him to a one-year $4.5 Million deal, and they've placed Chris Kreider on the trade block. Should Ryan Lindgren be next?
With stats are harrowing as this? Maybe the should prioritize this move next instead of Kreider.
