Rangers rookie issues shocking statement regarding his future with the team

New York Rangers rookie Matt Rempe takes many by surprise with recent statement.
The 21-year old rookie, Matt Rempe made his debut with the New York Rangers on February 18. Since the moment he stepped out in the ice he instantly became a fan favourite due to his grit and physical aspect on the ice, and of course the ability to drop the gloves with anyone.
However, Rempe was in out of the lineups all season and didn't produce much offensive or defense, so when asked about his plans to for the summer, he gave a honest answer that shocked many.

"First off, I gotta get rid of my eye infection. I look like an idiot. Sorry about that" 😂
The 6-foot-8 rookie says he wants a bigger rule with the Rangers next season, but he will definitely have to stick with his plan and earn that position.
Matt Rempe finished the year with 1 goal and 1 assist in 17 regular season games while adding 1 goal in 11 playoff games.
