Rangers star forward sets impressive record as he achieves this milestone during victory over the Sabres

New York Rangers superstar forward achieves an impressive milestone while facing off against the Buffalo Sabres on Wednesday night.

New York Rangers star forward Mika Zibanejad achieves an impressive career milestone as he nets his sixth goal this season.

With Mika Zibanejad's sixth goal of the season, he has officially achieved the milestone of hitting 300 NHL career goals.

Along with achieving this great milestone, Mika Zibanejad becomes the eighth Swedish-born player to ever to reach this milestone.

The other seven Swedish-born players to achieve this milestone is as followed:

1. Mats Sundin - 564G
2. Daniel Alfredsson - 444G
3. Markus Näslund - 395G
4. Tomas Sandström - 394G
5. Daniel Sedin - 393G
6. Henrik Zetterberg - 337G
7. Ulf Dahlen - 301G
8. Mika Zibanejad- 300G

The next Swedish-born player to achieve this fate will be Filip Forsberg of the Nashville Predators as he currently sits at 296 goals, a milestone he is very likely to hit this season.

Overall the New York Rangers finally played a decent game for the first time in awhile this season, as they managed to pull off a 3-2 victory against the Buffalo Sabres.

Hopefully they can continue this over to their next game, which will be against the Los-Angeles Kings on Saturday afternoon at 1:00PM.
