Igor Shesterkin Humbled And Joyous When Addressing Media
Igor Shesterkin is looking like the Vezina Trophy winning goaltender we have all remembered!
Getting his first 40+ save game of the season against the Dallas Stars last night to extend the Rangers win streak to eight games!
Shesterkin spoke on the win:
"I just want to say, 'thank you for everyone'."
His four starts since the All-Star break has been sharp. A 4-0-0 record with a 2.25 goals allowed average and a .937 save percentage with a shutout mixed in there.
The lone game Shesterkin did not play well was the Stadium Series game where he allowed five goals but still walked away with a win. He did poke some fun at that.
It's good to see him getting in perfect form as the final quarter of the season is upon us for the playoff push!
