Ranger Player Shares Emotional Response To Incredible Opportunity
The Rangers have re-signed Jonny Brodzinski to a two-year extension with an AAV of $787.5K.
Well deserved deal for Brodzinski, who has been very good bottom-six forward this season!
Jonny Brodzinski shares what his reaction was when he found out about his contract extension:
"Extremely excited. Family's excited. I can't wait to be back for another two years."
Jonny Brodzinski has skated 37 games with the Rangers this season, registering 4 goals and 11 assists for 15 points.
Apparently he said there were initial contract talks with the Rangers around November recall, but they really heated up in the last couple weeks.
"I told them don't I want to play anywhere else... My family loves it here, so there's no place I'd rather be."
You can't feel anything but happy for the guy and his family!
