The New York Rangers 8-3-1, will be taking on the Detroit Red Wings 6-6-1 tonight at 7 PM.

The game will take place in the Red Wings home arena, Little Caesar's Place as they will be hungry for a win.

They took a huge walloping from the Toronto Maple Leafs and lost 3-1 with Mitch Marner, John Tavares, and Morgan Reilly dominating the winged wheel on the ice.

Tonight the Rangers, if they can bounce back from their loss to the Sabres can defeat the Wings and find their footing again.

This will depend upon three Rangers tonight, who need to step up their game:

Panarin was held scoreless against the Sabres on Thursday. The notion you should learn from this is that Panarin's play also dictates how the squad plays. As Breadman is a driver of offense and given his history in Little Caesar's Arena, he could find the net multiple times.

Regardless of who is centering Panarin and Alexis Lafreniere - whether Vincent Trocheck or Mika Zibanejad - it's on Panarin to produce tonight.

On October 17th against the Red Wings, he had a hat-trick and helped lead the Rangers to a 5-2 victory.

The "Warrior" has returned to the lineup from a broken jaw, and despite being on the top-pairing, he hasn't played like his old self. Thursday's game against the Sabres saw him post a -2 rating on the ice.

The 26-year-old signed a one-year prove-it deal with GM Chris Drury, and if he can't find a way to keep the Rangers in the fight. Could this be his last season in a Blueshirt?

Miller's been paired with Jacob Trouba and Adam Fox this season. It's unfortunate to note that his time spent with Fox was unproductive. Against the Sabres on Thursday he is another defenseman who didn't protect the net well enough, earning a -3 rating on the ice.

He's shown glimpses of what his full potential could look like the past two seasons, as a physical defenseman, with an offensive upside.

It's up to him to bounce back tonight.

Peter Laviolette and the New York Rangers need to find the right lines and chemistry if they're to overcome this hopefully short slump.
