Over the past several weeks, the Vancouver Canucks have been involved in a media blitz of news of a feud that has broken out between JT Miller and Canucks center Elias Pettersson which has grown exponentially and has ratched up the trade talks.
Many side stories have also emerged including Canucks general manager Patrik Allvin who has raised several eyebrows with his comments of several days ago regarding Elias Pettersson and his need to mature more and bring more to his game which also has fueled speculation.
The Rangers are looking for a change in their roster and general manager Chris Drury has been open to the idea of making major roster changes since the team has imploded during the first half of the year and is now looking on the outside in at the playoffs.
It's incredible to think that the Rangers had a 12-4-0 record in its first sixteen games of the season and now has lost 13 of its last 16 which has crippled the team and made it almost impossible to win a game.
Speculation continues to run its course which included the real Kyper and Bourne Show on Sportsnet that revealed the potential trade situation of Mika Zibanejad heading to Vancouver in exchange for Miller.
With scouts now looking at the Canucks, and with the amount of noise that's been surrounding both teams and names emerging as potential trade targets it's safe to say there could be a major trade on the way from both teams as both teams need a change quickly.
