Lightning Release Update on Sergachev Detailing Painful Injury
Mikhail Sergachev had surgery today in New York to stabilize fractures in his left tibia and fibula, the Lightning announced.
He will return to Tampa in the coming days. No timetable for his recovery as of yet.
Mikhail Sergachev was stretchered off the ice at Madison Square Garden during Wednesday's 3-1 win for the Rangers after taking a reverse hit from Alexis Lafrenière and having his left leg bend awkwardly under his body as he fell to the ice.
We Rangers nation wish him a speedy recovery!
