Since Henrik Lundqvist retired from the NHL, after being unable to perform his duties with health issues, he found a new home with TNT.

He has been a analyst with NHL On TNT since his retirement as one of the greatest goalies in the NHL.

In 2021, the legendary goalie joined the MSG Network covering the New York Rangers, following it up quickly with a rotating spot on TNT covering the NHL.

During the 2023-2024 season, he was added as a full-time member of the analyst crew, following Rick Tocchet's hire as the Vancouver Canucks head coaching position.

All season long I've been enjoying my trips to Atlanta to hang with you guys and talk about the best sport on the planet. See you in the fall!

As the season ends and the Stanley Cup Finals begin, Lundqvist let us know that he will return to NHL on TNT in the fall.

Not only does he lead the Rangers in wins (459) and shutouts (64) but he is one of the best hires as an analyst.

It was announced in September, 2023 that multiple members including Lundqvist were signed to multi-year extensions, so we should expect to see the Rangers best goalie to continue to add wisdom to a broadcast, in place of Paul Bissonnette's high-school analysis.

See you next fall, Hank.

Who is the NHL on TNT cast?
Lundqvist, a 15-year NHL veteran with the New York Rangers, will be inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in November. He joined TNT as an analyst after retiring from the league in 2021.
