The news continues to unravel as the deal between Coyotes owner Alex Meruelo, Gary Bettman of the NHL and Ryan Smith of the Utah Jazz is becoming known.

One aspect of this deal is the players and how they feel about it and according to Frank Seravalli of the dailyfaceoff.com it appears one player is excited to go to Salt Lake City due to variety of reasons.

After the deal fell through for the new arena in Tempe Az, it became clear that the NHL had told ownership that a solution was needed as soon as possible, or the team was on the move.

The Coyotes organization has taken lots of criticism for the arena they play in, Mullett Arena which has been deemed substandard too many players across the league and the NHLPA.

Billionaire software developer Ryan Smith will be an active owner in the NHL and quite aggressive in making his new team a playoff contender.

The coyotes new home the Delta Center, was built in 1991 and is home to the Utah Jazz of the NBA.

It will house 14,000 seats for hockey which will be on the smaller side of standard venues however it will be up to code and what the NHLPA will be looking for.

It's widely expected that the players will enjoy their time in Arizona and it will also help attract new players especially with several prominent unrestricted free agents available this summer.
