There will be plenty of good talent available during free-agency and one of those forwards who could be a top-line solution: Tyler Bertuzzi.
Bertuzzi is holed up in Toronto, waiting on GM Brad Treliving hand in foot as he tries to solve Kyle Dubas's mistakes of the past and turn the Maple Leafs into a contender.
But it's now a waiting game for both parties.
Tyler Bertuzzi is an analytical darling as he could be a boon for the Rangers this post-season.
He plays the left wing with a certain old school, grittiness coaches and teams love, and is a great producer offensively.
In 2023-2024 Bertuzzi scored 43 points( 22 G, 21 A) and could be a great addition to flank Mika Zibanejad or Chris Kreider.
Alex Tuch has been a great player in both Vegas and Buffalo, who is a versatile player. Tuch can play on both sides, LW and RW, and is a great playmaker and 20-goal scorer.
It was believed that the Rangers tried to trade for him at the deadline, however were unsuccessful.
He could also be a solution for the Rangers top-line.
The Rangers' defense is a bit thin let's not lie to ourselves. After the Panthers series, it was apparent the Blueshirts needed backup in the worst way possible and Zadorov could be that guy.
Zadarov is a UFA, and recently played in Calgary and Vancouver and could be a top-4 defenseman in the Rangers system.
He could be an ideal replacement for Jacob Trouba, if he decides to trade for Zadarov someone of value may have to leave New York, but hopefully, it won't come to that, by the time July 1st rolls around.
