A Pair Of Rangers Prospects Make The USA World Junior Team!
New York Rangers prospects Gabe Perreault, and Drew Fortescue, have made the USA National Junior Team preliminary roster for the 2024 World Juniors.
Gabe Perreault was drafted 23rd overall in the 2023 NHL Draft, and plays the right wing position.
Fortescue was drafted 90th overall in the third round of the 2023 NHL Draft, he is a defenseman.
Both currently play for the Boston College Eagles.
Gabe Perreault has already played international, where he represented the United States at the 2023 IIHF World U18 Championships where he ranked second on the team in scoring with five goals and 13 assists in seven games and won a gold medal.
The final U.S. roster is expected to be announced by Dec. 17.
The Pre-Tournament for Team USA starts Thursday, December 21st, against Sweden.
