Fans brutally call out the Rangers poor performance during game one
The New York Rangers displayed one of their worst performances during the 2023-24 playoffs following a tough loss against the Florida Panthers in game 1 of Eastern Conference Finals.
The Rangers have only been shut out twice in 92 games, the first time being a 4-0 game back in December 9th against the Washington Capitals and then a 3-0 loss against the Panthers.
New York just could not find their rhythm with only managing 12 goals on goal throughout two periods. Even going over a 16-minute stretch will only one shot in goal.
Of course the Rangers did have some slim chances, with a few breakaways from Braden Schneider and Will Cuylle, then a one-timer from Mika Zibanejad that went wide, a four-shot flurry in 12 seconds during the third period and a late power play right after that.
However, that wasn't enough as the final buzzer went off leaving the Rangers scoreless in a 3-0 defeat and only tallied 23 shots the entire night.
With that being said fans were completely frustrated, calling out the Rangers online after their poor performance.
Hopefully the New York Rangers will bounce back as Game 2 will take place at MSG arena at 8:00pm.
