Former Rangers forward Sean Avery disrespects New York Rangers superstar following recent performance issues.

Avery is very well known for being a pest both on and off the ice, but ever since he retired from playing the in National Hockey League he has voiced his controversial opinions on players on social media, and Mika Zibanejad was the latest victim of his criticism.
Despite the New York Rangers being off to a pretty good start of the season with a record of 2-0-1, Avery filmed one of Zibanejad's shift against the Detroit Red Wings on Monday, and called him out by saying he was «DJing in Ibiza all summer», basically stating Zibanejad isn't ready for the season and that he's not playing good hockey.
Avery tried to argue his point with this video, as he says the star forward isn't being stationery on the play, along with making fun of his shot attempt. However Zibanejad does have three points as he put up a goal and two assists over the last three games.
It's no secret that Zibanejad has a passion for music and DJ-ing, but he is not the only NHL star with a different passion off the ice. So it's not fair for others to make fun of his passions considering this has never stopped him from putting up points for the Rangers and helping the team become Stanley Cup contenders.
However, Avery isn't the only one who thinks Zibanejad needs to perform better on the ice as many fans believe he needs to step up and do better to insure the Rangers can contend once again this year.
