New York Rangers Adam Fox Tweets Major Family Announcement

This will be their first child together as the 26-year-old defenseman has begun the first few weeks of the NHL season while also preparing for father hood. It's become a trend across the NHL and social media as hockey players and their spouses have been connecting with the fan base by showing key moments and important milestones such as this.

Many fans replied to the video sending their congratulations to the couple and wishing them all the best. The former Norris trophy winner is hoping to continue his excellent play and contribution to the Rangers as the team wants to build off from last year's amazing season and long playoff run.

Last year he played 72 games, scored seventeen goals with 56 assists for 73 points and was a + 21 with 36 penalty minutes. He also played on average 23 minutes and 27 seconds of ice time.

Fox along with the Rangers will get back to work as they fly to Detroit to conclude a home and home series with the Red Wings. The game will take place on October 17th and puck drop will be at 7:30 PM Eastern.
