Game changing news strikes the Rangers-Panthers ahead of game 5
Game changing news strikes the New York Rangers ahead of Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Florida Panthers.
Bad news emerges this morning as the Florida Panthers hit the ice for their practice, as star forward Carter Verhaeghe left the ice with a gruesome injury after taking a puck to the face.
There's a good chance he misses game 5 as It's been hours since the incident and no update as to if he's ok, usually if the player was ok they would return back to the practice or address the media after the practice to give an update and nothing.
Obviously for the Rangers this just might be a plus considering Verhaeghe has been a pivotal part of the Panthers playoff success, as he has a record of 9 goals and 8 assists throughout the 2023-24 playoffs, with 3 goals and 3 assist just in the Eastern Conference finals.
With that being said, Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals will start tonight at 8:00pm at Madison Square Garden.
