First, he accomplished on getting 100 career points in last night 4-1 win over the Minnesota Wild.
He has played extremely well last night, scoring what ended up being the game winning goal, and providing two assists, in his first career three point game.
You can tell he has been having a lot of fun and feels more loose with the team, gaining confidence with each passing game and his defense has elevated as well to a level not expected.
"Yea it's fun just coming to the rink everyday, trying to work. We have a good group here. I don't know, just coming to the rink, having a smile on my face, trying to get better."
Head coach Peter Laviolette has stuck to his guns and is trusting in the 22 year old.
Lafrenière has five goals, and nine points total and is a +3 for the team.
He is playing like a true top-line player and deserves the respect he is owed this season.
