However, that will change as Matt Rempe will be in the lineup for the New York Rangers tonight against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
With that being said, the Rangers have decided to give Matt Rempe a spot on the lineup tonight, as the 22-year old heavyweight confirmed he will return to the lineup against the Toronto Maple Leafs, mainly to keep Ryan Reaves under control and handle business if necessary.
The 22-year old, has only managed to play in one game this season for Rangers, while recording zero points and a differential of zero in the teams 5-6 overtime loss to the Utah Hockey Club. However Rempe will have another shot at making a good impression tonight for head coach Peter Laviolette, instead of just stepping on the ice to drop the gloves like he did last year.
Just last season, Rempe fought some of the National Hockey League's biggest heavyweights, like Matt Martin, Nic Deslauriers and Kurtis MacDermind, along with his very anticipated fight against Ryan Reaves, and now the two will meet again for the first time since that fight, so it's safe to say that we can expect some action from both sides of the ice.
With both teams only having one loss in the season so far, this will definitely be a must-watch game as two of the best Eastern Conferences teams will face off.
