Injured Player Joining The Rangers For Practice!
Brennan Othmann isn't the only new addition this morning.
Kaapo Kakko is skating with the team for the first time since his injury (in a red non-contact jersey).
This is his first appearance on the team since he was injured in the 5-1 loss against the Buffalo Sabres November 27th.
Although he has struggled offensively all season, his defensive skills have been missed, as the Rangers have not looked as sharp in that end of the ice in their 16 games without him, going 10-6-0 in that span.
No word on his return date yet, although we should get an update on that soon.
