The Rangers are on fire, winners of six straight as we have taken down a divisional rival. However, it did come at a cost.

With the Rangers placing defenseman Adam Fox and center Filip Chytil on injury reserve, we will not be at full strength for an extended length of time.

In the meantime, we like to point out some facts and milestones from Thursday's 2-1 win over the Carolina Hurricanes.

Let's start with Artemi Panarin, who has now played in his 600th NHL game! So congrats to the Breadman!

He extends his point streak to 10 games to start the season with a beauty of an assist on Chris Kreider's power-play goal to give the Rangers a 1-0 lead.

Panarin has five goals, and 16 points, currently tied for fourth in the league in points.

Speaking of Chris Kreider, he scored his 7th goal of the year, on a power-play, no surprise there:

With that goal, Chris Kreider ties Andy Bathgate with his 272nd career goal, now tied for 4th all time in franchise history. He is now currently just 8 behind Adam Graves for 3rd all time.

Finally, the rookie! Will Cuylle scores his first ever goal, and the game winner, at Madison Square Garden. Watch this beauty here:

Here he is, explaining his excitement on the goal:

"I was pretty excited. First goal at MSG and it was a big one. I was pretty happy."

With this win, the Rangers remain in first place in the Metropolitan Division.
