Could the New York Rangers make a move one this one unrestricted free agent still remains unsigned, as the offseason slowly comes to an end?

Kailer Yamamoto, who has played for Edmoton Oilers and was later moved to Detroit Red Wings, was deemed a top six player after putting up 26 points in 27 games during the 2019-20 season.
During the 2020-21 season he seemed to have lost his momentum a bit but bounced backed in 2022, where he put up 20 goals and 21 assists in 81 games with the Oilers
Besides playing with the Oilers, Yamamoto doesn't seem to be sticking around long with an other organizations, which could be a perfect fit for the Rangers as he would provide secondary goal scoring and they could sign him to a contract with a low cost around $2 million.
Yamamoto's most recent deal was with the Seattle Kraken worth $1.5 million, during his time with the organization he played 59 games and tallied 16 points (8 goals, 8 assists).
If general manager Chris Drury were to take a chance on the 25-year old forward, he would be able to produce higher numbers as the Rangers are way better offensively than the Seattle Kraken.
