The New York Rangers have officially announced their roster and lineups for tonight's game against the Edmonton Oilers.

Tonight should be a good battle between the two teams as this will be the first time the New York Rangers and the Edmonton Oilers will face against each other for the 2024-25 season.

However, Rangers reporter Mollie Walker of the New York Post has released the official lineups as the New York Rangers hit the ice for their warmups:

#NYR warmup lines vs. Oilers:

Kreider-Zibanejad-Smith
Panarin-Trocheck-Lafrenière
Cuylle-Brodzinski-Kakko
Edström-Carrick-Vesey

Miller-Fox
Lindgren-Trouba
Schneider-Mancini

Quick
Shesterkin

It was also confirmed earlier today by Mollie Walker of the New York Post as to who will get the start in nets tonight for the New York Rangers, and that will be Jonathan Quick:

Jonathan Quick in goal tonight for #NYR vs. Edmonton, per Peter Laviolette.

This is now the official roster and lineup for the New York Rangers as they get ready to face the Edmonton Oilers tonight at 10:00PM.

Overall it should be a very interesting matchup as we get to see Artemi Panarin and Connor McDavid face-off against each other for the first time this season.

Hopefully the New York Rangers can bounce back and pull off a victory after losing 3-2 to the Calgary Flames.
