It's that time again folks, as the New York Rangers prepare to face off against the Detroit Red Wings tonight at 7:30PM at Little Caesars Arena.

The Rangers and Red Wings are facing off in back-to-back games as they faced each other on October 14th. However, with that being said, Mollie Walker of The New York Post has released the projected lineups for tonight games against Red Wings:
#NYR lineup at morning skate:

Kreider-Zibanejad-Smith
Panarin-Trocheck-Lafrenière
Cuylle-Chytil-Kakko
Edström-Carrick-Brodzinski

Miller-Fox
Schneider-Trouba
Jones-Mancini

Lindgren-Ruhwedel skating together, indicates No. 55 not ready yet.

Along with that Jonathan Quick was the first goalie to leave the ice during morning practice, this usually means he will be the starting goalie for tonight's game:
Jonathan Quick the first #NYR goalie off
This will be Quick's first start of the 2024-25 regular season, as Shesterkin has been the starting goalie for the last three games.
Last season Quick made 27 starts with the Rangers and managed to tally an impressive record as he tallied 18 wins, 6 losses, with a 2.62 GAA and a .911 save percentage.
Nothing has been released on the Rangers power play lines just yet, but it's safe to assume to that there probably won't be any changes and if that's the case, here's what the Rangers PP units will look like:
PP1- Kreider, Zibanejad, Trocheck, Panarin and Fox

PP2- Miller, Lafrenière, Chytil, Smith and Kakko

This could very well be the New York Rangers lineups for tonight's game against the Detroit Red Wings, however this is just a projection, nothing has been officially confirmed by the Rangers as of now.
