Rangers Top Prospect Has Reached A New Height As NCAA Best Player
On Friday night, Gabe Perreault had two assists, one shot on goal in a 6-1 win against the New Hampshire Wildcats. With his two point night, the Perreault is now leading the NCAA in points with 45 in 27 games played which also make him the leader in points per game with a 1.6667 rate as a freshman.
Here are his season numbers broken down:
Gabe Perreault this season:
27 GP
13 Goals (T-38th in the nation)
32 Assists (2nd in the nation)
45 Points (1st in the nation)
1.67 PPG (1st in the nation)
+18
If you look at the scoring standings, he is now three points ahead of projected No. 1 pick, Macklin Celebrini, and one point ahead of second place Massimo Rizzo who has played one more game than Perreault.
Need I remind everyone he was the 23rd pick of the 2023 NHL Draft? What a steal.
