Transaction: New York Rangers set to target former forward during the offseason
It's almost time for the New York Rangers to start making moves during free agency to better help them win the 2025 Stanley Cup final.
The New York Rangers shouldn't have to look far in the 2024 offseason, as there is one player they should be targeting to bring back to the team, via trade.
That player being St. Louis Blues forward Pavel Buchnevich, who is also a former right winger for the New York Rangers.
Adding a player like Buchnevich would definitely help bolster the Rangers to reach their ultimate goal of winning the Stanley Cup. Buchnevich has been an outstanding player, with 206 points, 83 goals, and 123 assists through 216 games.
If Chris Drury decides this is the right move, there will be tons of Rangers fans welcoming Pavel Buchnevich back.
