Will Cuylle to be promoted by the Rangers following recent comments by Peter Laviolette

The New York Rangers have a good future with one youngster on the roster. That is Will Cuylle, who is playing his 2nd full season as a Ranger.
This year, he's played 13 games with 9 points( 4 G, 5 A) and has been a fixture on one of the best forward lines for the Blueshirts.
His rookie season saw him post 21 points( 13 G, 8 A) in 81 games, and has physicality and offensive skills in his arsenal.
A gritty forward, that coaches and fans love as his hard work is frequently seen on the ice.
With his current production, he could exceed his career high of 21 points, last season. on pace for 52 points( 9/13*82 for analytics nerds) if he keeps it up.
While his play is more than just statistics, Cuylle's confidence has grown on the 3rd line. As he's found a home with Filip Chytil, and Kaapo Kakko, this is the new "kids line" in New York.
Cuylle's two-way play has allowed him not just to be a goal-scorer but a reliable penalty-killer for the Rangers as well.
His towering 6'3" stature has just helped fast-track his dominance, and Head Coach Peter Laviolette commented on Cuylle's efforts.
«He's a guy that I found is really detailed about his game,» Laviolette said. «I think there is maturity with that. Being able to handle yourself in your rookie year in a locker room filled with veterans, there is a maturity that comes with that as well.
«The way is off the ice, the way he is at practice, the way he handles his business, it's almost like a quiet confidence in what he's doing.»
Cuylle has obviously won the trust of Laviolette with his maturity in play, and capabilities that could lead to a future breakout we haven't even seen yet.
For now, Cuylle will continue to grow on the 3rd line, and work on becoming the keep of Rangers player fans love and just may also land himself a promotion to the second or first line.
