Friedman has solved playoff discussion in hilarious interview
It was a meeting of the minds when 32 Thoughts podcaster and Sportsnet insider Elliotte Friedman decided to join the Spitting Chiclets podcast to discuss numerous topics including an expanded playoff idea.
The panel and Friedman talked about the idea of the NHL playoffs growing to more teams which set off an amazing and hilarious interview between Elliotte Friedman and BizNasty.
At first Biznasty was clearly not interested in listening to what freeman had to say as it trampled all over his view of how the NHL is and what he likes about it.
As the interview unfolds, Elliotte Friedman gives some excellent points and a quite revolutionary way that the playoffs could look like with an expanded line up.
By the end of the interview, biz nasty was convinced, and the rest of his panel was in tears.
It's a discussion that certainly will gain traction over the next number of years as the NHL's appetite for expansion continues to grow.
There has been much discussion of what will happen to the coyotes and some feel that they may find a new home in Salt Lake City as their owners are prepared to take on the team.
Certainly, other cities have approached the NHL including Quebec City numerous times to try to land a new expansion franchise which I feel the Quebec City area would be fine to host a team.
