Another Rangers Target Traded To Contender Out West
Adam Henrique has been traded from the Anaheim Ducks to the Edmonton Oilers along with Sam Carrick.
Adam Henrique is in the final year of a five year contract that carries an AAV of $5,825,000.
Sam Carrick is in the final year of a two year contract that carries an AAV of $850,000.
The trade involved the Oilers trading a 2024 first to Ducks in Henrique/Carrick deal, plus a 2025 fifth that becomes a fourth with a cup win this year.
The Rangers were originally interested in Henrique, but apparently fell off when the asking price was too high.
We will update as more information becomes available.
