Flyers head coach John Tortorella clearly does not have a memory problem as he continues to shut down any questions during a press conference after hockey game from one reporter who leaked out a rumor that former Flyers forward Kevin Hayes was partly responsible for the departure of Flyers prospect Cutter Gauthier.
It's clear in his past dealings with this man that it really irked torts on what was said and what it did to Hayes and his reputation.
Torts, who has some of the best after game pressers with his deadpan responses or brutally honest reviews on people, his players or the media.
In the wake of the Corey Perry - Connor Bedard saga along with this with Kevin Hayes it's clear that rumors can get out of hand on the Internet and become a story of their own which can be damaging and sometimes ruthless.
Hats off to Torts.
