Rangers Completed A Huge Transaction
Brennan Othmann has been recalled from the Hartford Wolf Pack.
Apparently it's a precautionary move in case Artemi Panarin and/or Jimmy Vesey can't play tonight.
Both missed practice yesterday with lower body injuries.
They are considered day to day. No morning skate for the Rangers today.
Brennan Othmann has appeared in 44 games with the Wolf Pack during his rookie season. He has scored 36 points (14 g, 22 a), fourth-most among rookies in the AHL.
Brennan Othmann ranks second on the Wolf Pack in points and tied for second on the club in goals with Alex Belzile (14).
This will be Brennan Othmann's second recall and has appeared in three games with the Rangers this season.
Just a note: Brennan Othmann has transitioned to the right wing position.
In those 10 games, he scored 4 goals and added 4 assists for 8 points.
