For all intents and purposes, the stadium series weekend was highly successful.
Many fans, pundits and players felt that this was a fantastic experience to be part of and hopes it would continue to grow as more are being planned.
But one aspect of this stadium series clearly is not losing steam and is getting all the oxygen in the room which is the controversial goal at the end of the Rangers Islanders game.
The discussion has been off the charts as people continue to weigh in their thoughts of why this goal should not count.
He certainly has a strong feeling that this goal should not count, however, the NHL ruled in the Rangers favour that this goal does count because of continuance.
No matter how you slice it, the puck continued to move and cross the line even though it hit a player and the net came off its moorings with no whistle.
It's debate that will continue for some time since it's between the Rangers and the Islanders, but one thing is clear the fans clearly loved it and the entire experience was one to be remembered especially the Rangers being down by a three-goal deficit to win in overtime.
