Rangers Officially Complete A Transaction
Tyler Pitlick has been assigned to the Hartford Wolf Pack.
Pitlick went unclaimed via waivers and the Rangers assigned him to Hartford of the American Hockey League.
Peter Laviolette acknowledged the decision to waive Pitlick was directly related to plan to give Adam Edström a run in the lineup.
"He impressed us up here. He's a big, young, fast, strong player that we feel deserves a look and some games, and that's where the decisions come in."
It's been a rough time for the Pitlick family. Rem Pitlick, Tyler's cousin, has also been placed on waivers from the Chicago Blackhawks.
Let's see what Pitlick decides to do with his future.
