During the offseason Rangers superstar goaltender Igor Shesterkin was asked to rate his competitors in the shootout, and that video is surfacing once again.
Shesterkin proclaimed the Pittsburgh Penguins own, Sidney Crosby was the most difficult to face in the shootout.
However, Shesterkin also made sure to give a few others some credit as there is a lot of other incredible players in the league.
The other two players Shesterkin named off was Jack Hughes of the New Jersey Devis and Nathan MacKinnon of the Colorado Avalanche. Two players that are greatly appreciated and respected around the league due to their incredible skills.
It would be interesting to see if Igor Shesterkin's answer to this question will change after this season, as there is a ton of new impressive talent that has entered the league this season.
However in the mean time Shesterkin will continue to try and stop these superstar players and prove to the New York Rangers organization that he's worth $12M a year.
Who would you say is the better player out of the three that Shesterkin listed? Let us know in the poll down below and stay tuned to NY Rangers Insider for the latest news and updates on the New York Rangers.
