The Rangers will close out their season at home against Ottawa Senators.
It seems their anthem singer John Brancy has brought good luck to the team as he will sing his 29th anthem for the Rangers.
During his 28 other games, the Rangers went 21-5-2.
The Rangers have had a strong home record overall as their current stat is 29-11-0.
The team has enjoyed an excellent season with winning 54 games out of 81 and breaking a franchise record.
The Rangers are currently waiting for their first-round opponent which has yet to be determined as several teams are still battling for a playoff spot including the New York Islanders, Washington Capitals, Philadelphia Flyers and the Pittsburgh Penguins.
The Rangers are hoping to erase their first-round embarrassing loss last year and hopes to go the distance as the team appears to be poised and ready to compete. Only time will tell whether this is the case or it's more of the same with the Stanley Cup drought entering its 31st year.
