Peter Laviolette Answer Reporters Dumb Question With Brilliant Answer
Sometimes reporters don't ask the brightest question.
Peter Laviolette was asked if the Rangers want to finish first overall. His answer for the question is brilliant! Take a listen:
"If you're asking me if we wanna win the game tomorrow, we sure do. I love the comments when it says you don't want to be there because of this. Alright, well let's lose some. Tomorrow, let's take this one off."
I believe the goal for every coach, and for every team, is to win every game they possibly can, and if they land in first, so be it.
Thankfully the Rangers still sit in first in the Metropolitan Division, despite the fierce attempt of the Carolina Hurricanes to try and overtaken them.
Let's see if they can finish first overall and walk away with the Presidents Trophy as well.
